Parliament adjourned for an Easter recess of almost four weeks today and will reconvene on April 23.

The adjournment was moved by the Leader of the House, Carm Mifsud Bonnici, and both sides exchanged Easter greetings.

The House today continued to debate the Budget Measures Implementation Bill.

No vote has been taken since the no confidence debate on January 26 when Nationalist MP Franco Debono abstained and the Speaker used his casting vote.

Last year Parliament had an Easter recess of almost three weeks, from April 13 to May 2.
