Around 400 employees from seven corporations volunteered for the 11th Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day, held annually on March 19 – the St Joseph’s Day public holiday.

Arrow Pharma’s employees carried out work at St Theresa Home in Żurrieq, Deloitte employees at Dar Merħba Bik in Balzan, volunteers from Farsons Group worked at Dar il-Wens in Kalkara, and employees from the Gasan Group of Companies lent a helping hand at Dar Qalb ta’ Ġesù in Santa Venera.

HSBC Malta Foundation, supported by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malta and the Maltese Association of the Sovereign Military and Hospitaller Order of Malta, concentrated their efforts on St Joseph Home in Santa Venera, MSV Life employees helped at Caritas Shelter, San Blas, and Tumas Group employees worked at Mount Carmel Hospital in Attard.

This year’s CSR Day also received support from Macpherson Paints and Red Cross Malta.

In Gozo, a group of volunteers from HSBC Malta also worked at Arka Respite Centre.
