St Nicholas College Boys Secondary of Naxxar, together with Golden Harvest, are attempting to produce the largest figolla ever in aid of Puttinu Cares.
The figolla, in the shape of a lamb, will measure 300cm by 300cm.
All students are collecting funds from relatives, friends and neighbours in advance and the figolla will be sold to the public in portions at The Point in Sliema on April 3 from 9.30 a.m. until 7.30 a.m.
The idea for challenge was developed by the School Development Plan group after discussions between teachers and students. It was consolidated by acting head of school Ian Mifsud and Golden Harvest CEO Mark Aquilina.
Those who would like to take part and share the figolla can contact the school on snc.naxxar.bs@gov.mt or call 2143 5031.
