Gozo Bishop Mario Grech last Monday visited the new three-floor museum being built by ­Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria near St George’s Basilica in Victoria.

Coordinator Mgr Joseph Farrugia gave a detailed account about the project to Mgr Grech, who was accompanied by archpriest Mgr Paul Cardona, members of the clegry and supporters.

The museum will house old manuscripts, paintings and other sacred objects belonging to the parish.

The project is being led by Antoine Vassallo.
