Hibs Melita Gardens have just returned from a training camp in Bari ahead of some key matches in the national league. Apart from the training, a friendly was also played against Pink Basket Bari, of the Italian B1 League. Hibs, coached by Bruno DiPietrantonio, won the match 52-41. This trip is the beginning of a project launched by Hibs together with APS Bank Ltd and Gaudos Gym Fitness Centre. This collaboration will lead to foreign teams visiting the islands and also play tournaments in Gozo where Hibs intend to promote the sport in future.
