BENVENUTI. On March 21, CESARE, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Mary, née Cremona, his brother Gerardo, his sisters Sylvia and Fosca Valeria, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow at 9.15 a.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CALLEJA. On March 16, at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, UK, JOSEPHINE of Tarxien, residing in Gudja, aged 50, passed away to eternal life, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Sadly missed by her husband John, her son Clint and his fiancée Christabel, Melvin and his fiancée Sephora, her siblings Anna, Cettina, Raymond and Diana and their spouses, her mother-in-law Elizabeth, her sister-in-law Miriam and her husband Moses, her brother-in-law Alex and his wife Heather and their families, uncles, aunts, nephews and great nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. for Maria Annunzjata parish church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

PELLEGRINI PETIT. On March 20, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, GEORGE, widower of Marian, née Curmi, passed away peacefully, aged 88, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers, Paul and his wife Lina, Tonio and his wife Rosemary, his sister Rose, widow of Tony Martin, his sister-in-law Gaby, widow of his brother Joe, his in-laws and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital for the care and attention they gave him during his illness. The family is especially thankful to his personal carer, Felicity, for having so devotedly looked after him. Donations to Moviment Missjunarju Ġesù fil-Proxxmu, Victoria, would be appreciated. A prayer is kindly solicited. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SERRACINO INGLOTT – Rev. Prof. PETER, who passed away on March 16, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Miriam, his brother George and Angie in Chile, his brother Carmel and Eileen, his brother Anthony and Imelda, his sister Clementine and Louis, his brother in-law Vincent widower of Josephine, his sister in-law Carmen widow of Franco, his nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces, his secretary Margaret, his relatives and his close friends and the nuns of Id-Dar tal-Kleru. The funeral will be held today with Mass praesente cadavere at St Paul Shipwrecked church in Valletta at 2 p.m. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Kleru will be appreciated. TANTI. On March 22, at Villa Messina, MARIA, widow of Emanuel, passed away peacefully, aged 91, surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen and her husband Oliver Vassallo, Victoria and her husband Robert Azzopardi, Joseph and his wife Rose, Saviour and his wife Carmen, Bernadette and her husband Charles Balzan and Joan Debattista, her sister Filomena Agius, her 17 grandchildren, their spouses and fiancés and fiancées and 12 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina tomorrow for St Dominic church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be held at 3 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Cemetery, Dingli. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CARUANA – Lt Col GUSTAV CARUANA, MBE, ED. Treasured memories of a dearest father and grandfather who departed this life seven years ago today. Lovingly remembered and so sadly missed by his daughter Carol, son-in-law David, and grandchildren Rachel, Zach and Anthea. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CUTAJAR. Everlasting and treasured memories of MIRIAM, a never forgotten mother, grandmother and sister, today being the 19th anniversary of her death.
