A fascinating exhibition of model ships, warplanes, figures and tanks is on display at the Catholic Institute in Floriana.
Organised by the Malta Society of Model Makers, the exhibition features a figure section of casted white metal soldiers representing various regiments from different eras.
There is also an area dedicated to war hammer figures which have always attracted considerable interest in previous exhibitions.
Other highlights include models made of Lego Technic, Mindstrom and Meccano.
Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with some of the modellers who will be constructing their pieces during the exhibition.
Demonstrations of fully functional radio-controlled models, mainly patrol and tug boats, will be held throughout the day.
Since its foundation in 2003, the Malta Society of Model Makers has established twinning agreements with foreign clubs which has helped project the society on an international scale.
However, the main aim of the society is to help and support young modellers and for this reason, they hold regular meetings and lectures.
The exhibition runs until Sunday. Opening hours: 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. today; 8.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow; and 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
