A 16-year-old boy has been jailed for a month after he pleaded guilty to breaching bail conditions.

The boy, from Cospicua, was under bail for allegedly being involved in the theft of ring neck parrots, chipmunks, shotguns and farm equipment, a crime to which he last year pleaded not guilty.

The boy, who was caught out late by the police last week, admitted that he failed to adhere to his curfew.

Magistrate Miriam Hayman took into consideration his admission and that this was not the first time he had done something similar.
