The full programme of President Emeritus Censu Tabone's state funeral has been announced.

The cortege will leave family Tabone’s residence in Carmel Street, St Julian’s at 1.30 p.m. today  for the Presidential Palace in Valletta, where Dr Tabone will lie in state until tomorrow.

The public may pay their last respects between 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. and from 3 to 7 p.m. tomorrow.

The funeral Mass will be held at St John's CoCathedral at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday.

After Mass, the funeral will proceed to Gozo for a private burial at Xewkija cemetery. Details of the programme in Gozo will be announced later today.
