A ‘Walk and Talk against Domestic Violence’ will take place today.

The event is being organised by the Siġġiewi Youth Initiative to coincide with International Women’s Day.

The walk will start at 10.30 a.m. from the ‘Love’ statue at Spinola Bay in St Julian’s and end opposite the Preluna Hotel in Sliema.

Men, women, families and students are all encouraged to attend and receive information on how to deal with and fight domestic violence

Along the way, talks will be delivered by director of the Smart Skin Clinic Joanna Dalia, chair of the Confederation of Women’s Organisations Renee Laiviera and family therapy expert Charlie Azzopardi.

Participants will receive a free T-shirt.
