Argentina to build Belgrano museum
President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner said a new $20 million museum dedicated to the Falklands Islands will honour Argentinian marines killed trying to reclaim them from Britain 30 years ago.
She said it would honour the 300 men who died in the sinking of the warship Belgrano.
Ms Kirchner said the museum would be in the former navy school that served as a detention and torture centre during Argentina’s 1976-1983 military dictatorship. The inauguration was set for August 2013.

At least she acknowledges that the Junta was a rotten regime which sent these men to their death hoping to gain glory for itself if the invasion was sucessful.
