Obituary
MANGION. On March 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, of Sliema, aged 88, widow of Paul, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Lina and husband Lesley Vella, Margaret and her husband Joseph Persiano, her grandchildren Jaqueline, Massimo, Christopher and Sergio and their respective spouses, her great-grandchildren Hannah, Raissa and Aidan, her brother Paul, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday at 1.30 p.m. for the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar San Ġużepp, Ħamrun, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MICALLEF. On March 1, MARY (Ta’ Benjamin), aged 69, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers France and Joseph, her sister Pauline who lives in Australia, their spouses, her sisters-in-law, widows of her brothers Publius and Sonny, her niece who lived with her, Antonella and her husband David Agius, all her nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Francis church (Tas-Saħħa), Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. Donations to Dar il-Kaptan, Mtarfa, instead of flowers, are greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SPAGNOL. On March 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, DAVID of Żejtun, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Fr Salvinu Spagnol, OCD, and Twanny and his wife Rita, his grandchildren Daniel and his girlfriend Fransciana, David and his girlfriend Dorianne and Gabrijel, his brothers and sisters Joe, Carmelo, Catherine and Theresa and their spouses, all living in Australia, sisters-in-law and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.45 p.m. for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.15 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory’s Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Nazareth Foundation, Żejtun, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Today the seventh anniversary of the passing into life of ANNA MIZZI, née Ganado, a Mass for her eternal repose will be celebrated at 6.30 p.m. at St Patrick’s church, Sliema.
