The Palace Open has become an annual fixture on the Malta Squash calendar and ranks among the most popular tournaments of the season.
All national team players will take part in the event which will be played at the Malta Union Club on March 10 as it will be the last tournament before the European Team Championships, to be staged in Malta between April 18 and 21.
At stake are three categories – the ‘A’ event for the top players (men), the ‘B’ Open for intermediates and beginners and a women’s competition for participants of all levels.
Among the main attractions of the Open are the squash courts themselves, considered among the best on the islands.
The tournament organiser is Ivan Balzan. Those interested in participating are to send an email to ibalzan@ria.com.mt.
