CARUANA. On February 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, PETER A., poet, writer and garden expert, of Tarxien and residing in Fgura, aged 74, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary Grace, née Xuereb, his children Josette and her husband Noel Portelli, Christine and her husband Felix Borg, Pierre and his wife Marthese, grandchildren Verena Marie, Alan Michael, Caroline, Rachel, Sarah and Jean Pierre, Eileen, widow of his brother Louis, nephews and nieces, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3.45 p.m. for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4.15 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Erwieħ Cemetery, Tarxien. CAUCHI. On March 1, at Sa Maison Retirement Home, CARMELINA née Galea, of Valletta, aged 94, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Ronald, her daughters Doris and her husband Anthony Caruana, Roselle and her husband Joseph Grech, her grandchildren Norbert and his wife Monica, Jean Carl and his wife Melanie and Alain James, her great-grandchildren Danilo and Nicolo, other relatives and friends. On March 1, at Dar San Ġużepp Ħaddiem, Żejtun, MARY of Mosta, aged 59, residing at Dar l- Arċipriet Degabriele of the Nazareth Foundation in Żejtun, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Grezzju and his wife Mary, her brother Leli and his wife Maryanne, her nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, including Dun Anġ Seychell, Anġlu Zahra, members of the board of directors, care workers and all residents at the Nazareth Foundation. The funeral leaves Dar San Ġużepp Ħaddiem today at 3.15 p.m. for St Catherine parish church in Żejtun where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Nazareth Foundation, Żejtun, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Talk on dementia
The Malta Dementia Society is organising a talk by Dr Carmelo Aquilina on the Management of Behavioural Changes in Individuals with dementia. The talk will take place on March 14 between 6.30 and 7.30 p.m. at 5, Lion Street, Floriana. All members of the Malta Dementia Society and the public are invited to attend. The event is free of charge.
