The UHM has stopped industrial action which would have affected driving tests and inspection of vehicle imports as from tomorrow.

The union said it had decided to withdraw its directives after the intervention of the authority's CEO Stanley Portelli  and after  Enforcement Officers were paid some allowances due to them.

Further talks on pending issues will be held between the two sides.
