Councils’ property tax

Much is being said about local councils. In other countries local councils impose a tax on every property, even if it is vacant.

So complaints about local councils will only make matters worse, and the tax will be introduced in Malta sooner rather than later. From experience this tax is a burden especially for pensioners and people with limited income; and those who have seasonal homes will have to pay double.

In this case we should count our blessings and just be with the crowd.
