Maltese alternative rock band Bletchley Park recently landed its first professional music placement. The band, signed to US label Poison Tree Records and Desert Drive Publishing, had the music of its 2010 single Hold The Trap used in a promotional film featuring The North Face 2011 ski team.

The clip also features music by two other foreign acts, namely Seb Taylor and The Nucc.

“It’s a wonderful feeling and we’re obviously very pleased to have our music featured in an international production,” guitarist Gianluca Pulvirenti said.

Clearly motivated by the fact that, further to its proven success on home turf, the band’s music has now also been recognised abroad, Bletchley Park – currently working on new material – will most likely be getting back into the live circuit very soon.

“We’ve been hiding too long!” read a recent post on the band’s Facebook page, “but we will see you soon!”
