When you hear my voice

We attended the performance at the St James Cavalier, given by young men from the Corradino Correctional Facility Young Offenders Unit, and cannot let the occasion go by without a massive vote of thanks.

We have seen many performances in the wonderful setting of SJC but this was perhaps the most emotional and convincing. The effort which the performers had put in to create a highly professional performance must have been extensive and it is to their credit that they are trying to put the past behind them and working towards new goals.

Everyone who supported the venture, not least the London Shakespeare Workout, should be congratulated for opening both eyes and (hopefully) doors. It was a most enjoyable evening and our best wishes go to all the performers for their future careers. On this basis they have a lot to look forward to. Well done.
