The Mosta midfielder saw red in his team’s 3-0 win over Mqabba and must now serve a two-match ban. Raimy was joined on the list of banned players by his team-mate Federico Tisbi who collected his fourth yellow card during the same match.
They will skip their team’s next match against Sliema Wand-erers, which has now been put forward to Saturday, March 3 at the Tedesco Stadium. Balzan defender Bledjon Guga will miss his team’s decisive match against Tarxien Rainbows also to be played on March 3 in Ħamrun (kick-off: 4.15 p.m.).
Mqabba trio David Fenech, Kris Calleja and Mauro Bonnici were also handed a one-match ban yesterday and will skip the team’s remaining match from the first phase against Hibs who will have Jackson Lima out serving suspension.
Ħamrun Spartans midfielder Lee James Agius was also banned for his team’s next match against Birkirkara on Sunday, March 4.
