The Maltese national team at the European Championships, currently underway in Dublin, Ireland, had an outstanding start to the tournament with three wins from as many matches.

The side, led by Adrian Camilleri, followed up the 9-6 victory over Belgium with two other wins over Scotland (8-7) and Northern Ireland (11-4).

The best performers for Malta up to this stage of the competition were Clint Azzopardi and Mario Brincat.

They both won seven games from the nine played in three matches.

The other players in the side are Antoine Aquilina, Marius Gatt, Maverick Zammit and Johan Attard.
