GRECH. On February 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDWARD RAYMOND of Msida, aged 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and children, and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Carmelina and his children Edwina and her husband Henry Mallia, Stefan and his wife Connie, Bernard, widower of Grace, Norman and his wife Edith and Simon, his grandchildren Erica, Stephanie, Karl, James, Jessica, Rudi, Beverly, Amy, Chloe and Georgina, his sister Ione Cefai and her husband Victor, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere was said yesterday at Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SPITERI. On February 18, at her residence in Sliema, AMELIA, née Cachia, widow of Joseph, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Josette and her husband Paul Mifsud, Tania and her husband Robert Naudi, Victor and his wife Tanya, her brother Joseph and his wife Rose, her sister Carmen and her husband John Camilleri, her treasured grandchildren Mark, Greta and her husband Rob, Debbie and her boyfriend Joe, Tommy, Nikki and Matthew, her great-grandchildren Annika and Lexie, her nephew Joseph and nieces Marisa and Antonella, also Cettina and Lino Zahra, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Crèche, Sliema and Salesians of Don Bosco, Sliema, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
