Following my two letters to The Times where I queried the whereabouts of the RAF rest camp at St Paul’s Bay, a correspondent kindly sent me two photos showing the house’s back façade and taken from and towards the gardens.

Again, I implore readers if this location is remembered by them as being the house in question. This will further assist me in my research on the project I am currently working on, namely the history of Luqa airfield.

I also wish to ask readers to lend me their photos/anecdotes from their time working at our airfields, thus emulating the good deed this correspondent did by sending me these photos. By doing so, we can all share in the positive experience that our country’s history can offer.

I can be reached through e-mail 203sqn@onvol.net or on 9947 0536.
