EU simulation exercise

Four students from the University’s Institute for European Studies (from left Tobias Roth, LauraMuscat, Vivienne Bajada and Jean-Paul Gatt recently took part in a three-day simulation of a European Council meeting organised at the University of Exeter in the UK by the State University of New York. The aim of the exercise was to give students an international experience of formal public speaking, heated debate and negotiation, voting, and answering journalists’ questions, while offering an opportunity to interact with over 150 other students from 17 US and European universities.
