11.45 a.m. He is presented with a publication entitled The Maritime History of Malta – The First Millennia by photographer Daniel Cilia, editor Fr Charles Cini and the authors of the book at the Palace, Valletta.

Noon. Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace, Attard.

Wednesday

11 a.m. The President receives a farewell call from Libyan Ambassador Saadun Suayeh at San Anton Palace.

7 p.m. He attends theScouts Founder’s Day reception at the Movement’s Island Head­­-quarters, Floriana.

Thursday

9.30 a.m. He visits St Aloysius College Secondary and Sixth Form in Birkirkara.

10.55 a.m. He visits Stella Maris Primary School in Balzan.

Friday

9.30 a.m. Mrs Abela attends the launching of the publication entitled Floyd u Sħabu at Paola Primary B.

9.45 a.m. The Presidentis interviewed by Fr Joe Borgand Joe Pirotta at CampusFM, University of Malta,Tal-Qroqq.

11 a.m. He is presented with a publicationby Mario Axiaq and the membersof the Qormi FootballClub on the club’s 50thanniversary at San Anton Palace, Attard.

7 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception hosted by Faisal Sulaiman Al-Musai-leem and Mrs Maha Bourusly on the 51st anniversary of the National Day and the 21st anniversary of the Liberation of the State of Kuwait at the Westin Dragonara Resort, St Julian’s.
