Over 20,000 visit new Bay Street outlets
Philip Galea, Gerald Attard (Mangano), Maria Debono, Grazia Rita Consention (Cycleband and Fruscío), Kateryna Lavrenjuk (BACI Lingerie) and Bay Street CEO David Debono cut a commemorative cake during last Sunday’s VIP party at Bay Street.
Over 20,000 people attended the Bay Street complex’s celebration of the official opening of nine new outlets on Level Two last weekend.
David Debono, chief executive officer of the Bay Street Commercial Centre, cut a commemorative cake along with members of his team and representatives of the new retail, dining and entertainment outlets during a VIP party last Sunday.
In a brief address to guests, Mr Debono said the new developments enabled Bay Street to offer thousands of visitors a more holistic experience.
“We are delighted to have partnered with a number of new operators, who have managed to bring in an array of new, vibrant brands not just to Bay Street but also to Malta,” he said.
“We are also very glad to see one of our current partners investing further.”
Visitors were treated to free flowing refreshments, special offers from all outlets, gift bags and animation for children.

Nice to know -but how many of this" over 20.000 people " (how much over and who counted them?) actually bought something instead of merely going for the freebies or for curiosity reasons.Tills ringing is what counts -not window shopping.
