The King Carnival float drifted past Auberge De Castille in Valletta yesterday on the second day of carnival.
A medley of rave music and classics reverberated off Valletta’s ancient walls as carnival floats, parades and parties took over the streets.
The sun beamed down from the blue skies above to the relief of organisers.
Today’s events start with a defilé at the Granaries in Floriana at 1 p.m., and a parade along Valletta’s Republic Street at the same time.
There will be a grand spectacle of dance and floats at the carnival arena on the Granaries between 2.30 and 6.30 p.m.
