I refer to Albert Storace’s review ‘Organ at St Publius’s inaugurated’, (The Sunday Times, January 22).

The organist who actually inaugurated the organ and played the four solo pieces mentioned, was in fact engineer Robert Buhagiar, the renowned organ builder and restorer. The other organist mentioned by Mr Storace accompanied the choir.

Secondly, the concert ‘Musical tidings’, held at Floriana parish church on December 13, also marked the second centenary, and not the first, of Vincenzo Dimech’s rendering of the statue of St Publius.
