Members of the international gastronomic society Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs’ recently attended a friendship dinner at the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay, St Julian’s.

The Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an exclusive, international gastronomic association of chefs, restaurateurs and gourmets that was founded in 1950 in Paris.

The members were welcomed to a pre-dinner reception, during which Piper Heidsick NV Champagne and canapés were served, followed by dinner in the Grill 3301 Restaurant, hosted by general manager Stuart Chappell.

The menu was prepared by executive chef Kevin Arpa and his brigade. It included specialities like scallops with salmon, lobster and crab, a Kobe beef carpaccio and slow-roasted veal.

For dessert guests were served white chocolate mousse and chocolate tart.
