Launch of books to raise pupils’ animal awareness

Subculture Animal Friends has just published 10,500 booklets aimed at raising animal awareness in pupils aged eight to 11, which will be distributed free to all Year 4, 5 and 6 students in State schools. The books will be launched on Friday at 9.30 a.m.

Subculture Animal Friends has just published 10,500 booklets aimed at raising animal awareness in pupils aged eight to 11, which will be distributed free to all Year 4, 5 and 6 students in State schools.

The books will be launched on Friday at 9.30 a.m. in the hall of Paola Primary B.

The group has re-issued its first booklet entitled Floyd u Sħabu l-Annimali tar-Raħal, which shall be distributed to Year 4 pupils.

Another booklet entitled Floyd... l-Avventura Tkompli will be distributed to Year 6 pupils and another booklet entitled Floyd, Sħabu u l-Avventuri Tiegħu, which incorporates both books into one, will be distributed to Year 5 pupils.

The books have been given a fresh look with full colour pictures. They include messages regarding animal awareness by local personalities.
