A spooky carnival-themed house is being set up to honour the more macabre side of the celebration.

Patrick Vella, director of Curtain Raiser, presents Dar il-Waħx carnival theme at Splash and Fun, Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq today from 5 p.m. till midnight.

Featuring interactive live scenes with mind-boggling mazes, the themed house boasts attractions such as the Evil Clown, the Tree Monster, the Examiner, the Zombie, the Evil Ritualist and the Chain Saw Massacre scene.
