Updated: Sheep abandoned at neglected room in tal-Virtu

A reader found the sheep in the photo above abandoned and dying a slow painful death at a neglected building in Tal-Virtu, Rabat, this evening.

Clayton Mercieca who entered the building during a walk with friends, said that the sheep was moving slowly and barely breathing. He said that another two dead sheep were in the same building. He said the sheep seemed to have twisted necks.

The group called the animal ambulance, which is now taking the animal to the San Frangisk Animal Hospital to be put down.
