The younger of two brothers charged with attacking two lesbian girls in January did not turn up in court today with the older brother claiming his sibling had not been served.

But on checking, the court found that his sister had taken the notification.

Supt Charles Magri assured the court that the younger brother would attend the next sitting or he would arrest him.

Earlier, Health Centre doctor Maria Caruana testified that on the day of the attack a 17-year-old boy had turned up at Floriana health centre with a graze and back pain but he refused to give any details and just verbally gave his name and address.

She could not remember or recognise the boy.

The case was put off to February 27.
