The registration period for the 2012 Malta Marathon gets underway tomorrow at the Urban Jungle outlet in Sliema as the build-up for the 27th edition gathers momentum.

A record 2,500 runners will take part in these year’s races. Maltese participants can collect their chip-timers and registration number on the following days: tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 7 and 9.30 p.m.

Registration for overseas participants will take place from February 23-25.
