During 2011, 258 people with disabilities found employment in Malta, while 16 did so in Gozo.

During the same year, 95 such people in Malta and five in Gozo changed their jobs.

The details were given by Employment Minister Dolores Cristina in reply to parliamentary questions by Noel Farrugia (PL).

The number of people with disabilities registering for work at the end of December 2011 was 453 in Malta and Gozo. Thirty-one others were already working but seeking to change jobs.
