Malta International Airport has again been chosen as Best Airport in Europe in a passenger survey gauging service quality.
It is “top airport” across all categories for 2011 in the independent annual Airport Service Quality survey, which covers over 200 airports in more than 50 countries, The survey consisted of 350,000 interviews. The exercise, by Airports Council International, provides a global benchmark of passenger satisfaction, offering an extensive analysis of airport service performance.
MIA’s chief executive officer Markus Klaushofer said the top placing confirmed that the airport’s efforts and investment to improve and sustain its service quality levels had again been recognised by the passengers themselves.
