Syrian repeat protest

Syrians living in Malta, joined by members of the wider Arab community, assembled outside the Russian Embassy in Kappara yesterday to protest against China and Russia, which last week vetoed a UN resolution calling on President Bashar al-Assad to resign.

Syrians living in Malta, joined by members of the wider Arab community, assembled outside the Russian Embassy in Kappara yesterday to protest against China and Russia, which last week vetoed a UN resolution calling on President Bashar al-Assad to resign. The protest yesterday followed another one outside the Chinese Embassy in St Julians on Saturday. The Labour Party expressed its support with the protesters.
