Romantic Greek isle

Lovebirds looking for a romantic Valentine’s getaway should look no further than the Greek island of Santorini, which laid claim to Europe’s two most romantic hotels in Trip Advisor’s 2012 Travellers’ Choice Romance awards.

The winner, Andronis Luxury Suites, and runner-up, Aspaki and Oia Castle, were joined in the top 10 by Anastasis Apartments, another Santorini establishment which placed seventh.

“Santorini was revealed as a lovebird’s haven,” said Trip Advisor’s Emma Shaw.
