Maltese karting racer Clayton Mizzi (picture) and his team are this year taking part in the Rotax Trophy Championship in Sicily. The championship is made up of ten meetings and comes to a close in October. Races are held at seven different racetracks across Sicily. In his last championship showing, Mizzi started from pole position, after a scorching time of 49.58 seconds, to win the first race in his category just ahead of home karter Salvatore Battaglia. Mizzi was second in his other race but was classified overall winner for a very fruitful weekend. The next Rotax Trophy race will be held today.
