Care Malta recently started its ‘Active Ageing’ initiative at Roseville home in Attard.

Throughout last month, Roseville hosted various culinary sessions, inviting over residents from all different facilities to spend some quality and fun time together.

In the upcoming months all homes for the elderly within the Care Malta Group will be organising s activities to support the ‘European Year of Active Ageing’, giving the opportunity to the elderly to participate in activities to enhance well being and quality of life.

On September 27 and 28, Malta will be hosting the yearly conference organised by the European Association for Homes and Services for the Ageing, entitled ‘Active Ageing – The Challenge for Providers’, which will deal with best practices and innovations in housing, services and care.
