The Labour Party yesterday presented 197 candidates who will contest the local council elections on its behalf on March 10.

Speaking at a news conference in St Paul’s Bay, Labour leader Joseph Muscat said he was confident all the candidates would do their best to serve their localities.

Just under half the candidates are contesting the elections for the first time.
