Snooker Cup final
Leone Band Club officials and winners of the billiards and snooker competition with their trophies.
The Gozo Snooker Cup final, organised by the Gozo Billiards and Snooker Club, was held recently at the Aurora Opera House in Victoria.
The final between Jason Vassallo and Shaun Sultana was a display of talent. Sultana had the upper hand, winning seven frames to six. In the last frame, Sultana made an impressive clearance, closing the game with a black-to-win, winning the title at his third attempt.
The trophies were presented by Leone Band Club president Michael Caruana.
More than 60 players took part in the billiards and snooker competitions.
