• The Diocesan Eucharistic Movement will be holding a prayer evening at the Good Shepherd church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8 p.m., followed by Mass at midnight.
• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at the church of Our Lady of Pompeii, Victoria, on Saturday at 7 p.m.
• The Legion of Mary (Gozo) will be holding its 43rd Marian Song Festival at the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria on May 12. The festival will be open to Gozitan singers aged 10 upwards, and choirs. Applications and further details are available from the Legion of Mary headquarters, St Augustine Square, Victoria, on Tuesdays between 5.30 and 6.30 p.m.
• SPCA Gozo will be marking World Spay Day on February 28. The society will be holding a month-long cat neutering event. Anyone feeding colonies of cats that need neutering are asked to contact Betty at info@spcagozo.org.
• Heritage Malta will be holding a course for young Gozitans entitiled ‘An Introduction to Nature Photography’ at the Nature Museum, The Citadel, Victoria, on March 19 and April 10 between 10 a.m. and noon.
The course will consist of two theoretical and practical sessions that will introduce the participants to the world of nature photography. Each session will be two hours long. At the end of the course participants will be given a certificate of attendance. The recommended age is 10 to 14 years. The price is €5 for both sessions.
