San Michel tournament at TCK

The next competition on the calendar of Tennis Club Kordin (TCK) is the traditional team tournament.

This annual event, sponsored by San Michel table water, will be played on weekends and public holidays between March 3 and May 20.

Participating teams will play each other and the first four with the highest number of points will progress to the semi-finals.

The first-placed team will meet the fourth-placed and the second- and third-placed sides will contest the other semi-final.

Every match will consist of two sets with one point awarded for every set won.

In a statement, TCK invited members who wish to captain one of the sides to contact club chairman Bennie Vidal on 2169-0874.

Applications, available on the club’s website www.tennisclubkordin.com, are to be filled in by not later than February 12.
