On February 8, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, FRANĠISKA (Ċikka) of Mellieħa, passed away peacefully, aged 85, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter-in-law Evelyn, widow of her son Joe, her son Andrew, her grandchildren Caroline, Jeanette, Natasha, Jason and Melisa, her 10 great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. for Marija Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery, Mellieħa. FARRUGIA. On February 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, LEONARD,of Pieta, aged 65, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his children Antoinette, Joseph and his wife Elaine, his grandchildren Leonard and Yasmin, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, and their res-pective families, besides other relatives and friends. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Marise, Frederick and Angele, Juliette and Anthony, Paul and Roberta, Michelle and Robert, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. SWAN – TERESA, née Caruana Galizia, aged 93, widow of William Swan and of Tancred Gatt Rutter, passed away peacefully on February 5 at Casa Antonia, Balzan, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her beloved children John and Joseph Gatt Rutter and Angela Flintoft, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Rosa Darmanin and sisters-in-law Marcelle Caruana Galizia and Connie Fiteni, her dear niece Mary and many other nephews, nieces and friends. Special thanks to all the staff at Casa Antonia for their care and attention. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 8.45 a.m. at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family vault at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
