Three die as tourist submarine sinks - 13 rescued
Three German tourists have drowned after their Egyptian sightseeing submarine sank off the coast of a popular Red Sea resort.
The victims were a couple and their child, said an Egyptian security official.
It sank near the city of Hurghada. The 13 other tourists on board were rescued.
Submarine excursions that allow tourists to gaze at the Red Sea's famous coral reefs and tropical fish from the sub's windows are popular with tourists visiting Egypt.

I feel deeply sorry for the three Germans who drowned close to Hurghada tourist resort.
Congratulations go to the survivors.
Nearly seventeen years has elapsed since I experienced, there, that same sightseeing, but from onboard a boat with a windowglass set at the botton and not from a submarine. It's wonderfull. You observe the world's corolline rocks in creation. Wonderful!
