Greece agrees on austerity measures

A deal has been reached among Greek political leaders on additional austerity measures demanded by EU-IMF creditors in return for a loan bailout, European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi said today.
Draghi told a news conference that he had received a phone call from Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos just minutes earlier and "he told me that agreement has been reached and has been endorsed by major parties."

Greek political leaders have agreed on the measures. But will the people? If they keep on going the way they are it would be better to let them go as they will drag others with them. It has now been almost a year since the world heard about Greece and they havn't even started acting yet. I suppose better late than later!!! The way I see it, it will not work.

Greece has agreed nothing- as the Parliament in Greece does not remotely reflect the Greek people as the members will find out soon in the forthcoming election .In any event, further austerity measures merely exacerbate and compound the Greek people's already dire predicament and are actually counter-productive.Stand by for full blown anarchy-possibly revolution- in Greece!
