Government aid to missionaries (4)

I would like to show my appreciation and thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which through its Overseas Development Aid approved and selected the Mother Margherita de Brincat Catholic School Inc. project to receive a €14,000 grant.

The Mother Margherita de Brincat Catholic School Inc. (MMdBCS) is a non-stock incorporation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines. The Articles and By-Laws of the incorporation were duly approved by the said commission.

A financial statement audited by a qualified accountant and duly stamped and received from the Bureau of Internal Revenue is submitted annually to the Commission.

As such, the MMdBCS Inc. is maintained and financed through contributions, donations and grants.

I would like to thank also the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus and benefactors who from the start saw the need for such a project, believed in it and offered their continuous help. Thus deprived children can now receive the best education in a safe and clean environment.

Let everyone be assured that every euro received from the ODA is going to be spent for the sole purpose of abolishing ignorance and poverty through a sound holistic education as our motto “peace and good through quality education” shows.
