Insignia Charity, a proposed non-profit charity foundation set up by Insignia Group of Companies (IGC), will open its first office in Malta and will cover charitable aid across Eastern Europe. Depending on the success of the initial phase, Insignia Charity plans to open further offices throughout Europe shortly thereafter. Insignia has a long-term goal for expansion to Africa, Asia and other areas around the world where destitution is at its most desperate.

Founded in 1996, Insignia is the world’s finest and only bespoke high-end lifestyle management group that offers financial and luxury lifestyle management services to ultra high net worth individuals predominantly in Europe, as well as the US and Asia.

Initial funding for the programme will come exclusively from IGC with future donations generated from IGC’s private and commercial partners, affiliates, ultra-high net worth individual customers and other individuals, organisations and companies. Insignia Charity will also work with volunteers to assist in providing support and raising awareness as well as organising fund raisers and campaigning.

Insignia has developed a four-prong strategy called EAPP (Emergency, Aid, Prevention and Promotion), which is based upon prioritisation and enables Insignia to communicate its ethos and values: Emergency – the highest status will be reserved only for those in need of immediate and urgent help; Aid – gifted to those who cannot satisfy a basic need without assistance or those who lack even the most basic essentials to sustain life, such as adequate clean water, food and shelter; Prevention – investment in equipping people with the skills, knowledge and resources that they need to lift themselves out of poverty; Promotion – communicating with local communities and governments to promote the rights and the opportunities of groups who suffer from poverty.

Insignia has developed the Insignia Charity Card, a pioneer in how funds are delivered to charity beneficiaries. These cards will only be able to be used by the recipient and only used for purpose of its issuance. This will be guaranteed by a chip that prevents the funds being used by third parties or for ulterior purposes and will be also be supervised by compliance officers. This combination of monitoring ensures that the beneficiaries get the help they need and that the money goes in the places it is intended to. The cards can provide the beneficiary access to clinics, funds for purchasing tools or medical supplies or even for local communities to purchase produce or other essential materials.
