Dress code
I watched One News and noticed that Joseph Muscat had his shirt’s collar open and was wearing jeans. He was accompanied by his colleagues who were waring a neck tie and suits.
Is Dr Muscat’s dress code correct, given his status and possible future position in Maltese politics?

I never made any sort of comparision with Dr. Gonzi: why politisize my observation? The comparision I made was with Dr. Muscat's own companions. Or don't most of you understand what dress code means? I would imagine that, notwithstanding not knowing my political inclinations, I am now labelled a Nationalist. As if dress code is political. And who says that all labourites agree with Dr. Muscat's dress code?

Maybe after he noticed the effect a tailored suit was having on a "par idejn sodi" he decided better to avoid such attire. Hallina trid Joseph.

What's wrong with his attire? Does the habit make a monk? Hallina! Scraping the barrel?

Not all that glitters is gold. Mr Sammut...conversly, not all that doesn't glitter is necessarily worthless! who cares about the icing! It's the tasty cake that counts!

Joseph if you think that the most important thing a Prime Minister or Prime Minister to be can do is wear a suit then it sort of explains why the present Government are in the position they are and why the people of Malta are suffering for it.

Please don't politisize the issue: I am simply talking about dress code, if you do understand the meaning of it.

Joseph you refer to Joseph Muscat's 'status and possible future position in Maltese politics,' so you have already politicized the issue yourself! Maybe you don't understand the meaning of it.

I had to; that 's my whole point - dress code tied to his status, present and future. BUT I did not politisize it in the sense that I compared Dr. Muscat to anyone in the Nationalist camp. Is this so hard to understand?

Gosh! really have you nothing to do, but write a whole lot of stupidity! Maybe this man had taken his twins to the playground...did that ever occur to you? Or don't you know that there happen to be playgrounds on the Maltese Islands? Does he have to wear a suit and tie to do that? Please get a life...I'm off to the playground..wanna come...wear jeans & open shirt though...with runners & white socks!!! LOL

Oh no, you're not, Anne. It's too cold to go to the playground and were open shirt :))

So, it's ok to be a politician controlled by an "oligarch" as long as you get the dress code correct!

The most important thing a politician should carry is not a bespoke suit.........but a young and open mind!
