Malta Film Fund recipients announced
The Malta Film Commission has announced the recipients of grants to emerging filmmakers through the Malta Film Fund for the development and production of audiovisual works.
It said that 16 applications were received with a total amount of assistance requested reaching over €500,000.
Eight projects have been granted funding totalling €184,500. The projects include four development actions for three feature films and one animation feature and four production actions of which include two short films, one feature film and one documentary.

mr.borg, there is no profit from these types of productions..the money granted is no enough to cover all the costs..these people have talent and need the help..the more experience malta gains in film production will benefit the whole island including people like you..films create a lot of jobs in all sectors..more movies and adverts are being made in malta not only because of location and weather but also because of the talented locals...this is ridiculous that you comment with out having any idea what you are saying.
